Here are the implications of his bowl picks:

1) FSU beats Clemson in Death Valley, something that hasn't happened in I don't even know how long.

2) VT wins @Miami (who I think should be significantly favored to win the Coastal)

3) VT finishes with an overall better record than Clemson, avoiding a repeat of last year where both Clemson and FSU got the best ACC bowl bids.

4) Logan Thomas > Tajh Boyd

I have officially washed my hands of this fool.

I believe you have nailed it. While I am sure our season will require our best effort to shine in the spotlight at the end of the season, I think this team will be considerably more talented and much more deep with quality players than we've been since Danny Ford was here. For him to predict us that far out of it is amazing coming from a guy who is supposed to know something about football. No way all the rest have improved that much more than we have, and truth be known, I'd bet we have improved significantly better than most of the others, in our coaching and in our players.
