No. Just no.

I do hope he is healthy and can get back to practice, though.

Might just be me but if at any time I have more than 2 times my body weight above me I want three people and some body armor to stop it. Sure it doesn't look as impressive but without them it could have gotten a lot more hits on youtube when something went wrong.

I'll get this wrong for sure, 'cause I'm old and it's been a long, long time ago.

Didn't we have a couple of brothers, Joe and Jeff Bostic, that could bench a tremendous amount? I want to say either 500+ or 600+ - not sure. Anyone remember those guys?

I might have the names wrong too, so excuse my "old timers" disease.

Don't know what Joe and Jeff benched back in the day, but I work out with Joe and he's a strong son of a gun.

should be the title. Pretty cool, but wouldnt be considered a legitimate bench in any gym

And he drove a little VW Bug. Still trying to figure out how he got in that thing. Sorry it wasn't a "Thing", it was a "Bug"... The "Thing" was a different VW model. :)
It probably would have given him more room, though.
GO TIGERS!!!

485 for Joe Bostic. Hard to imagine that Jeff lifted more since he's smaller, but he may have.

"With a little bit of help from his spotter"

"Shoulder saver"

????

Smells like a trap.

The only other quotations/ parenthesis i saw were of another players coach:

"He's the stongest player I've ever coached"

And

"Best combination of size strength and speed I've seen"

Thanks but no thanks for the back-handed compliments, pal.
