Anyone have apple operating system

Experience. I had Yosemite 10.9 and tried installing el captain and it would not install now I can not figure out how to go back to former system. I want to be able to get on tigernet on laptop not my tiny iPhone. I will reward points for you in future on every topic you post! Thank you

At this point your best move is to take it to a Genius at an Apple Store. It's rare for an upgrade install to fail unless there was a power glitch or something, or a hard drive problem. The service is free - you'll only pay for parts if you need something.

Former Apple Genius here. What this guy said. And go to the apple website and book an appt in advance of going to the store in the mall. Otherwise you'll wait forever.

it is insane apple owners have to jump through so many hoops over such simple issue. Remember when they were the easy computers to operate?

You're quite correct - it's not hard to do (wipe and reinstall). But, I'd want to ensure the system and hardware are OK by having it checked out. In my experiences, Mac upgrades don't fail unless there is an underlying problem with something, or a power problem as I mentioned. Thanks.

have not updated.

Samsung phones are better, but apple laptop and computer products are far superior to windows and their plethora of issues.

My last macbook lasted 8 years and i only upgraded bc someone stole it.
