Did we back off of him at all? I just can't understand why he would want to be a Coot coming from a Clemson family except playing time or fear of great competition. I ask only because most of the recruiting services have him going to usuck.

I'm not sure I've seen people say he really likes SC (not sure why) and I've seen people say we've backed off so I really don't know

He was a Clemson lean early and for some time, but I believe we backed off trying to the the Robinson commit. May have been some hurt feelings then. Muschump and his chipmunk coaches worked their way to the top, and, like Spuddier did with Lattimore, worked on his mom. Although she's a CU grad, I believe with the stack of receivers we have and the opp for early playing time, he'll commit to the chickens. Good kid from a good family. Wish him the best, whatever his choice.
