Anybody know of any cheap flights to upstate NY?

Cheapest I have seen is about 350 RT from CLT to Rochester NY (80 miles from the dome)

Just checked Southwest from Charlotte to Rochester and looks like it comes to $320. Couldn't find anything else cheaper than that on other airlines to Rochester or Syracuse.

Rochester has historically been one of the more expensive airports in the nation to fly into (source, I grew up there). Its only about an hour and change from Rochester to the dome, but check out Buffalo (about 2 hours), and if you have time for a 5 or 6 hr drive, try NYC. Have only flown in and out of Albany a few times and it was on the company dime, so I am not sure of the prices (probably about 2 hours as well).

But if you fly into Rochester, be sure to make some time to get a garbage plate. Google it.
