I haven't seen any updates on his injury since post game yesterday. I guess no news is good news in that situation.

if he knew this to be true or if he was assuming something. Common sense IMO would say that DS would prefer to sit Bryant if possible so he's ready for Tech.

KB himself said the injury was not “high ankle” and frankly the staff needs to keep matters quiet so Syracuse has little idea about who starts Friday.

The way KB and Dabo were talking about the injury I feel like it may be worse than we are being led to believe. Both tried to blow it off but were non committal on his status for the next week.

IMO we will be playing Friday with a new starting qb

I think our coaches work a situation like this one to death. It puts 1st team responsibilities on the backup(s) which churns the cream and raises the butter to the top.

As most of you know how serious a high ankle sprain can be, That type of injury can really screw up the ankle for a long time. Let's hope it is not that. But if it is we put the next man up! We will be ok!

They must feel pretty good that it is only a sprain.

Otherwise, they would have quickly taken him to the locker room for imaging.

He was able to put some weight on it, which is a good thing.

They really won't know until he starts rehabbing it how bad it is and how long it will take to heal.

I imagine we will rest him against Syracuse, just to be safe, since we should be able to handle Syracuse without him and we need him to be 100% for the stretch run.
