Was staff meeting yesterday but never heard anything about it.

All freshmen can play in up to 4 games during the year and still redshirt. There is no cutoff date any more unless you hit the 4 game mark early and the coaches announce it.

I haven't heard any news to this point, but you can bank on the fact that anybody who has not played a snap after this game will take a redshirt.

You would expect that this game has been circled by the coaches as 1 of 4 for anyone who they plan to keep at 4 or less.

If we do what we are supposed to on both sides of the ball, we may have some subs getting more snaps than starters in this game.

I really hope the starters perform at a high level because I love seeing the young guys get in for long periods of time. It really lets you see their tools instead of just getting one or two plays in the last minute.

Tiger Illustrated had two long articles (one on offense & one on defense)earlier this week on who is likely to play and who is likely to see action in only 4 games and redshirt. No need to live in a TNet bubble. I like them both, for different reasons, and would hate to have to choose.

Did that happen to be a paywall article?

I know TI usually posts things like that first but I'm ok with waiting to learn those things once they get to TNET.

I love when TI opens articles for free because they have some really good information and some good writers on that site.
