Road trip to Syracuse

Feb 25, 2013, 3:29 PM

I was waiting on this schedule to see if I could do a road trip to Syracuse and the date works for my schedule. Spirit Airlines flies in to Niagara Falls from Myrtle Beach, then I'll rent a car and drive to Syracuse. Now, I have to wait on the NFL to release their schedule in April to find out if Buffalo has a home game that Sunday.....I sure hope that works out...gonna be an awesome trip if it does.

I'm a Dolphins fan and hadn't even considered a two-fer that weekend. If the 'Fins are playing......

It could happen....I don't care who the opponent is, I want to see CJ in action in person. The logistics for a two-fer are great.

Any idea how tough a ticket this will be to buy?

Feb 25, 2013, 3:54 PM

It will be their first ACC game in history and chance to upset a top 10 team potentially, so I don't think we are going to be able to walk up and get tickets on the 50 yd line. I'd like to drive up from PA but don't want to sit in the dome rafters.

Carrier Dome NEVER sells out for football

Feb 25, 2013, 3:57 PM

Shouldn't bee too bad. Maybe $10-$20 over face value

Feb 25, 2013, 4:20 PM

No it won't. We'll be lucky to sell 28-30k season tix. So 20k will be available for single game purchase. Either buy through Clemson (you'll be in Section 111-112 or the 300 level just above) or buy through SUAD in April and sit elsewhere. We sell beer (LaBatts, Bud and Microbrews) in the Dome.

Trust me there is no bad seat in the Dome...save for the last few rows in the 200s (they are under the overhang from the 300 level). Some of the best sightlines in the BCS. The stadium is steep and only has 49,500 seats.
