I had ocassion to see and talk to him some when I was at CU. I think he was running intramurals then. He was a very nice and modest man. I remember always feeling like I was talking to a real Clemson hero.

He was a class act and it is sad he is no longer with us.

I think it's a good way to honor the schools past heros and add a little something to this young rivalry. Now...if we could just beat BC.

I agree. For two schools that on the surface have very little in common, we actually have a pretty cool history with BC. I enjoyed the trip up there two years ago, and the last three games have all come down to the wire, so I think this has become a good rivalry.
