Maybe one spot below, but Clemson will not finish undefeated and behind a team with a loss. Baylor can do that, but Clemson won't. Same for Penn St.
I do think that the loser of Alabama/LSU has a good shot at making the playoff as the #4 team, behind Clemson.

Dabo's philosophy of getting reserves meaningful playing time has always been beneficial during the long season, but the committee is saying that blowing out inferior opponents is factored in to their decisions.
I like Dabo's philosophy and it has obviously worked and helped develop younger guys, which is why we seem to reload every year with talent all over the field, but he may have to leave starters in longer from here out.

If his strategy of putting reserves helps them win games later in the year, then it's absolutely the right thing to do. He only needs style points if they lose a game.
