i also understand that you don't assume you have one in the bag, you recruit until signing day... it just seems odd that i have seen a lot of TEs come through in the past 2 years (the one that past and the one that is coming). oh well.. I just don't want to see a Georgia situation where we start losing players to attrition on account of no playing time or oversigning. it seems crucial this year that we take the right ones b/c our program is on the up and up but our spots are pretty low this year.

We have 3 TEs on scholarship this year to play both the TE and FB/HB positions. We have a converted WR starting at TE. The other thing about this position is that TEs and DEs are usually what they call jumbo athletes. When the staff visited Oklahoma a few years ago, one of the trends they saw was that OK recruited quite a few jumbo athletes because it's always good to have big guys who can move well. Last year's starting LT began as a walk on TE. One of the starting DEs at yesterday's scrimmage started as a TE. It's also pretty common for DEs with bodies that can carry the extra weight to move inside to the interior DL.

Would play Wr motion kind of guy not a blocking te line him up over a de sometimes chip and go on like. Mcclain te where he puts his hand on the ground

Is a long ways away I agree that can be good and bad all in the same sentence if we sign 3 more so so guys as far as stars then ill begin to worrie.
