this just cannot be. The ACC doesn't even play football.

Actually on 21 ACC players made it to the Pro Bowl.

Good to know that a convicted steroid user gets rewarded

Dec 20, 2006, 9:28 AM

for his season.......

Did he "self-report" the violation? If so, he is forgiven.***

that will be released soon?

4 for football and 7 overall?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

ahh, yes. I forgot about that. That is pretty bad that he

gets a pro bowl spot. But I think the attitude is one of not caring, as long as the player provides entertainment and helps ticket sales (see Barroid)

I'm not defending steroid use in any way but Merriman tested positive for nandrolone.

So many sportsmen have tested positive for nandrolone in such a short space of time that it has led to speculation that the testing procedure may be flawed, or inaccurate. The reason for this is still unclear, but one theory is that there is a link between heavy training, the dehydration that goes with it, and their effects upon the components of high protein diets. Until more work is done, however, the 'nandrolone mystery' goes on...

Phillip Rivers' kid strikes again

Dec 20, 2006, 10:27 AM

maybe I am being a homer, BUT how does Phillip Rivers get in over Tom Brady. Is it because he threw for more yeards? Nope, Tom has more. Is it because he threw for more touchdowns? Nah, Tom has more also(4). It has to be because of his kid.

I am just saying. #### Phillip Rivers and his kid. I hope we get to face them in the playoffs.

I want to correct a trail of posts relative to Justin Miller. I always thought he was a good player but felt he was not a great player. i questioned his potential ablility to play at the next level. he proved me wrong. Congratulations Justin Miller on making the pro bowl and a success of yourself in the NFL.

Thanks for the West End Zone Donation also. A true Clemson Asset.
