that everyone just gets tired of hearing about it and it goes away. NCAA isn't going to do anything and now everyone knows that UNC's academic reputation is for the birds.

the former Gov. said it was an academic matter and not an athletic problem. It was in that big long report thingy they did last year. Who are the SACS people to question the officials at UNC? I mean just because they are the accrediation folks EVERYONE knows UNC is a top 10 public university...just ask anyone that went to UNC, they'll tell you.

UNC said "sorry, my bad. we won't do it again" FOR GODS SAKES PEOPLE haven't UNC been punished enough. I mean this SHOULD have been corrected behind closed doors but that pesky Raleigh Newspaper (filled with NCST fans) keeps bringing it back up.

Nothing.

UNC athletics are off the hook because there were a couple of non-athletes mixed into the classes.

200 phantom classes and 560 changed grades? If that's not enough for SACS to do something already - then they're not going to do anything.
