So since Lawrence took over the starting spot and KB2 stuck his thumb in the wind, have there been any games where the dueling dual OCs went straight gangsta conservative? I remember shouting at the television, trying desperately to get Elliot or Scott to hear me. “Please don’t throw another screen or run another QB keeper!!! Please God no!!!” And I remember it was like they almost heard me every time, but accidentally thought I screamed “please throw another screen pass or run another QB keeper.”
Anyways, it seems to me that maybe the ultra conservative play calling in tight situations might have been due to a lack of confidence in our QB’s passing ability. And now with TLaw at the helm, they feel like they can let the kid fling it around a little. Of course I could be completely wrong, because I’m a drunkard. And what does a drunkard know other than how to get a bottle of booze open under any circumstances whatsoever?
So what say ye Lunge, are the complaints about occasional play calling woes possibly due to trying to play up or down to our former QB’s strengths and weaknesses?

If it's 3rd and 2 and he has Tee 1:1 outside he'll chuck it 40 yards and trust his arm because that's the best option instead of going to HR on a slant. That's hard to prep for.
