Am I the only one who doesn't care if CM leaves?

I love the guys attitude, but I don't see him as the same offensive genius everyone else does. No doubt we are better than with BN, but I'm still not sold on his in game strategy working at an elite level. I'm sure this type of offense can work, just not the way he uses it at big moments.

Of course I don't want that again. We are definitely in a better position now, but there are still a bunch of great coordinators out there that would love to coach for the kind of money he is getting. I just feel he's overhyped. He's proven he could beat teams we are supposed to beat, but good defenses have stalled his scheme. Right now the jury is still out with me. I honestly don't care either way at this moment.

I don't care!! I still believe in fundamental football.

Championship football on top levels will rely on strong defense, fullbacks and tight ends. Drive down inside the five and straight up play action pass to the TE works 99% of the time.
Watch any team, Bama, Steelers, etc and they always go back to the basics.

1. ND #2 Scoring Defense 2. Bama #1 Scoring Defense 3. UGA #16 Scoring Defense 4. UF #3 Soring Defense 5. Oregon #27 Scoring Defense 6. K St. #22 Scoring Defense 7. LSU #11(T) Scoring Defense 8. Stanford #11(T) Scoring Defense 9. TAM #30 Scoring Defense 10. SC #14 Scoring Defense 11. OK #48 Scoring Defense 12. NEB #31 Scoring Defense 13. FSU #7 Scoring Defense 14. Clemson #49 Scoring Defense I think it is very obvious where the problems lies.....Not with CM. If you want to be a TOP 10 team, which we do, you can't be #49 in scoring defense. Period. CM isn't the problem.

off the field. The fast paced spread offense is for the weaker teams that don't have the personnel. Its a new answer for the triple option.

Texas A&M runs their offense faster than we do.

I really think Tajh Boyd is great. But I think Chad Kelly will even be better in this offense.

The Spread works. We just need a few more bigger faster athletes on both sides of the ball.

The offense is fun to watch for sure, and with CM Clemson has gotten more consistent in beating teams it should. Now, I have no been impressed with him against teams like Scar and FSU this year. I feel like he too frequently abandons the run. Like against Scar this past weekend. AE and hot rod had some nice runs and then its like we just stopped trying. Its a little unacceptable that Nuk only had 1 catch and SW 4. However, I know TB had a lot of pressure and was sacked a lot, but that on CM to adjust to that. JMO.

I am with you MC Tiger. I think his ego is bigger than his knowledge of how to run an effective offense. He always talks about how he likes to run the ball, but this past week the running game was effective, but he chose to pass and block Clowney with one man. Anybody wtih a tenth of a brain knows that Clowney needs to doubled teamed in passing situations. I have no problem in seeing this guy hit the road.
