I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Bad Call IMO!!!******

wanted to know if it was my bracket bias or did they just make a horrible call that ended up deciding the game...The Talking Heads just had an Official on who defended the call(shocker right?) and it just made me mad because it appeared to be a really horrible call, the kind that usually go against us but is a good no call when it happens to us.

Weak.

There was no malicious intent with the foul.

Guess the refs want to protect that basketball conference.

Dirty play. Seton Hall player should have been kicked out.

this is a tough one for me...

everyone in the building knew they were going to foul, and I don't think there was any malicious intent-- however, that being said, the explanation given by the refs was that there was no play on the ball--- which is also true if you watch it....

Players are taught to foul by going for the ball, even though many times they don't.

If you buy into the fact that games should be officiated the same throughout, and shouldn't change b/c of situations, then it was likely the right call...

The bigger issue here for me is consistency. One game an official knows he's going to foul, and it's not a flagrant. The next, a different official knows he's going to foul, and calls a flagrant b/c he didn't make a play on the ball.

There almost needs to be a provision to the rule to change the definition of flagrant with under a minute to go--- although I'm not sure how you do that.

Hate to see a game decided like that though.

yeah, I know the rule, but as you pointed out, they NEVER

call it that way(with the exception of JB a couple of years ago) consistently, so it really pissed me off when the Official On Set deferred the the definition...Their interpretation shouldn't decide the game...I know, I know...I heard it as i wrote it, but I posted it anyway ;)

Bad call. Accidental trip. Nothing intentional or malicious.

Terrible Call. The refs were suspect the whole game.
