Clemson is their go to.The other team fans eat that crap up,therefore sending viewers to their employers sites, networks.OU will have their Heisman in a weak year of candidates, and the sports world thinks that makes them the cream floating on top of Bamer,who still hasn't beaten a good team.Miami is the hot team of the moment, perhaps deservedly so.It will indeed work itself out in the next 3.

it's only silly if one interprets the debate as being premised on the idea that the remainder of the season won't play itself out and resolve some things. But in fact, that's not what's driving the debate. The debate and disagreements occur b/c there is dispute over the proper criteria and method of assessment. Everyone knows that certain games will resolve various questions, but they want to make sure when that's all said and done that the best arguments will be employed to settle that final ranking that DOES matter the most.
