Clemson had 597 tackles for loss over the last five years, most in the nation and 100 more than 125 of the other 127 FBS teams.
100 more than all but two teams? wow....

The Tiger defense always puts the other teams in a hole with 2nd and 12, 3rd and 9, 4th and 5. And then the other defense has to contend with Clemson's offense way too often. A perfect plan!

And all of this doesn't even touch on the compelling stories, character, and personality of the individual players, or the character and perseverence of the team as a whole. Easily my favorite team of all time in any sport. A true storybook sort of season (or combined two seasons). My favor stat/observation is the record number of games win by 7 or fewer points.
