Still All In. I hate that we lost that game, but I don't think changing coaches is the answer. It is hard not to overreact when something as despicable as losing 5 in a row to our most hated rival happens, but I think Dabo has a good staff in place and replacing a coach that has 3 10 win seasons in a row under his belt is not a winning proposition. Why would any really good coach leave their current, safe job to jump into a situation like that? Plus, every time you change coaches and systems it takes a few years to get rolling again what with losing recruits and having to recruit to a new system.
So, I am furious about losing to SCAR, but I still think Dabo should be the head man at Clemson. Flame away.

TDP conducted a BS National Search that -
1) Either never occurred.
2) Or no one worth a darn wanted the job.
So, the easy and then cheap way was to hire Dabo.
A former insurance salesman/ position coach does not make quality Top 15 material.

I think dabo needs to realize that beating SOUTH CAROLINA is a BIG REASON if not the ONLY reason he got the Head coaching job here.
If only his job depended on beating that team maybe there'd be a different outcome
when he was hired he had to do 2 things every year
go 10-2/11-1 in this pathetic conference AND beat south Carolina.............he's yet to do that 5 years later.....unlike the majority of "fans" I did not adjust my goals to accommodate the current situation.......I was done with dabo after 3 in a row, but was hoping he could prove me wrong.........and has yet to do it.

We would have to land a big name coach to hold onto recruits. However, what big name coach would want to come? Greater attention to detail would help tremendously against scar and may be worth an initial hit in recruiting. Worked for Bama back in the early '90's.
