Alabama schedule two bye weeks?

They have bye weeks before A@M
Bye week before LSU
Fcs team before Auburn
Who makes their schedule? Finebaum? I knew of the fcs and one before LSU every year but 2 bye weeks is that normal

Everyone has 2 bye weeks. Saban is smart to play down as often as he can. If he goes undefeated, his team is in. Why would he want a tough out of conference schedule? It's all downside and no upside for him him to book tough non conference.
