Muscoot is doing better than those losers historical average. They have never been a conference contender having only won 1 in their entire history. And certainly never come close to being a player on the national stage. So please tell me exactly what it is mustycoot should be on the hot seat for and ### these fans of theirs need to hope for?

back in 1986 ... but then the 2nd half of the season happened.
And then Spurrier had them up to #2 once ... and then the rest of that season happened.
But really hard to argue they've never been even close. I mean, everyone starts the season tied, so to speak.

He needs more than a big win. He needs to avoid two losses to either UNC/Mizzou/AppSt/UT/Vandy. After he runs the gauntlet, his boys May give up and nosedive into UT/Vandy/AppSt. Look for it.

is one of the many reasons why u of 5c will never be anything more than a middling program that never achieves anything significant or a level of sustained success.
If you are satisfied with and continue to reward mediocrity, you will never be anything more than a second rate program.
Frankly...it couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

Living here in Tampa Bay area I must admit I've never heard of Josh Kendall. Since learning he works for The State and writes about the Coots then I know I could care less now for sure.

IF they survive Mac Brown and UNC...Alabama shows up in the midlands game 3. They'll be pissed off and on a mission because of the Beatdown By the Bay. This will be a defining moment for the coots because they'll find out quickly what kind of team they have.
They then have to recover quickly because they visit Kelly Bryant and MO. If they're still licking their wounds from the Bama game, Bryant will run for 300 yds.
They then host KY who they haven't beaten in 6 years. After a bye, they go to UGA. Uh-oh. Then resurgent FL comes to town, and then they go to Tenn, who also appears to possibly be on the up-tick.
Then it's Vandy and App St, both of which they could lose if by this point in the season Mushchump is lame duck and they just don't give ####, anymore.
The grand finale? @ Texas A&M and host Clemson.
This season isn't just about who they play, but when and where they play them, and more importantly, their mindset as the season rolls along. Mushchump will have to do the best coaching job of his life to keep this team engaged and competitive. Good luck with that.

If he wins 7 games or more (not saying he will) then I bet money another raise and contract extension comes. I don't think anything will happen to him unless he goes 4-8 or worse.
