and of course Coaches Manny (Miami) & Satterfield (Louisville & formerly of APPSt) are good coaches who are assembling good players.

Actually, my takeaway was that UofL Pencil Beards has some big defensive issues (either prep or otherwise) and Miami was at least competent enough (unlike last year) to take advantage of the breakdowns. There were a lot of issues of UofL simply just not having their D in position and Miami just going over and/or around. I actually thought that UofL had a decent O until that Pitt game, then not so much. Was daU's D just making some of those sustained drives look better?

Yes, I totally agree about Louisville D. If they figure out how to play defense one day, they'll be a pretty good team.
