Just win. The awards will come on their own.

If USuC somehow shuts down the pass and stuffs DW on the run, sobeit. Do whatever is necessary to win the game (Gallman). Keep winning and you have extra games. Win those and the stats will happen.

Uh... Henry is the odds-on favorite. 2/5 is less than 1. 3/1 is greater than 1, making Watson odds-against.

To explain another way:
If you bet $10 on Henry and he wins, you get your $10 back plus $4.
If you bet $10 on Watson and he wins, you get your $10 plus $30.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odds

Vegas is expecting Henry to win it, and he probably will unless he completely falls apart the next 2 games. But Watson should expect an invitation to New York, and would likely come in 2nd or 3rd. And then win it next year! :)

The article does say "a frontrunner" not "the frontrunner"

unless they edited if after you wrote this.

Fair enough; I misread it.

Of course, being second and a mile back doesn't really make him a frontrunner. Vegas thinks Henry's almost 10x likely to win it, much as I hate it. Having a Heisman winner is one of the only things we're missing. Would love to see Watson win it before he leaves.

Also, there was a huge discussion about how odds worked a few days ago. Thought I'd try to dispel some misunderstandings.

Agreed, but RBs are prone to bad days and Heisman

plummets. All it takes is a couple games where the OL gets stoned. Auburn probably can't do that Bama's OL, but Florida is capable.

Personally I believe that DW4 will play at Clemson his senior year. I think that he and his mom both will agree that his degree from Clemson is worth another school year before going to the NFL!!!

DW4 Has never lost a game as a starter

Nov 25, 2015, 11:47 AM

I don't buy into that line of he has only lost one game. He played like 2-3 series of the GT game and we were up. As much as I wish Cole well, that loss was on him.

But he also played all but 2 or 3 series of the FSU game last year

Kind of evens itself out.

But on those 2 or 3 series, had he played I bet he doesn't throw a sure td at the feet of the wide open receiver either.
