Went to Walmart yesterday

to get some adult beverages for the weekend. The lady in front of me was buying a gamecock item and the cashier commented on it saying how much he liked it. The lady in front of me then started talking about how her daughter was gonna be a freshman there yada yada. She then said something about how all the Clemson fans she knew HATED carolina, not just a simple dislike. My ears perked up at this as the cashier started bashing Clemson fans. I had to jump in at this point and I said "now wait a minute, I can say the exact same for most of the Carolina fans I know." He talked some trash while he was ringing me up, I mentioned how odd it was that carolina fans could only remember the past 4 years. At the end he asked me if I went there and I told him I was a graduate, he then said something about his allegiance which I didn't catch but in my mind all I wanted to say was "yea and that's why you're a cashier at walmart."

similar run in with the same cashier on Tuesday...Fat kid with a mon-chi-chi beard? He refused to pose for a picture after I laughed at him but he did say "Go Gamecocks" again as I was leaving... Priceless...

at first...He said who ya pull for? I said Clemson and Michigan and he said Uh-oh and held up his lanyard...I said, yeah, you work for Walmart, so what? Then he proudly pointed to the writing on the ribbon. I told him our interaction was worth losing the last 4 and tried to get him to pose for a picture... Priceless... I'll be going back Tuesday, will try and snap a photo on the DL...You can't make this stuff up...

typical coot fan. I'm blessed in that my manager graduated carolina in the mid 2000's but he's really cool and we have some quality football/school discussions. The only thing we have disagreed on was when my manager said "I felt embarrassed for Clemson fans when Dabo picked up and hugged that reporter after you beat LSU." To which I retorted, "I feel embarrassed for y'all everytime I see Spurrier without a shirt on."
