I like Orgeron...one of the few colourful characters

Nov 3, 2018, 9:35 AM

In college fb. Most coaches these days are so boring with coach speak, it’s great to see a guy with balls.

I understand every word he speaks but then again, I'm from NOLA.

He speaks a foreign language. It's called Cajun.

Or "coon ###".

Buy Rosetta Stone or Berlitz and you can learn it.

Or learn it for free by watching "Swamp People."

Yup, a true cajun as HC of the LSU Tigers is a joy to hear/watch. I actually have waited for the TV to subtitle him on delay.

Spent many years down on the bayou working the oil fields, dem boys love to party and will give you the shirt off their back. Rented a little garage apartment from an older couple, every night I would come home to find a couple mason jars of supper she had had made, lots of times could not have told you what it was but dang it was good! Ended up marrying a girl from Lake Charles, Louisianna , not a cajun but she can still whip up some fine food.

My cardiologist would not approve but who wants to die saying if I only ate more salads?

That's not too awful fat

Nov 3, 2018, 11:06 AM [ in reply to Re: So how fat are you? ]

BTW, butter doesn't make you fat. Biscuits, desserts, sugary stuff.

Yeah, I say butter just lubricates those heart valves. Got a weakness for ice cream and cheesecake, that could be the problem.

My BMI is on the high end of normal since they changed it to make folks feel better about themselves.

Orgeron looks like former Oregon State Head Coach Dee Andros. He was nicknamed “The Great Pumpkin”.

I like him too. He has that gravely voice and his accent makes him amusing. I like to hear his interviews lol

Me too. I think he was the interim coach at So Cal once. I wonder how he went over in Los Angeles.

I read an article on his wife and she has been through a lot healthwise. He sounds like a real family man and truly devoted to his wife. I never thought much about him one way or another until I read this article. It made me admire him quite a bit.

Funny how this time last year all of there fans were wanting him fired. Now everything is A-okay. I say a coach should at least get a 3 year grace period to get the program the way he invensions it.
