season. He may not be the fastest player we have on D, but most of the guys have been over-persuing all year so far. He's in the right place at the right time and makes the tackle. No complaints from me. Way to go, Spencer!

but as a fan, I am seeing a difference when Spencer Shuey is in there. Same with D. J. Reader, so what gives? C'mon Coach, put' em in! Amazing difference when DJ is cloggin' up the middle and SS is working the backside.

But, what do I know? I know this...

but that first VT touchdown shows his deficiencies in pass coverage. We've got to find a way to scheme to help him out in that area or teams will start to take advantage
