Serious question....

Dec 31, 2013, 11:26 PM

If Tajh acted like little johnny is that the way you would want a guy to represent Clemson University? Signing autographs during the summer?
Not me! What a punk..

It's a moot point because no one representing Clemson would ever act that way. Dabo makes sure of that.

That's not what this guy thinks...or not thinking

Nothing wrong with Johnny

So he is loud and cocky. He is also a baller and a born winner and everyone would love him if he were here at clemson. If you don't like Johnny your not gonna like chad Kelly if he gets the spot. Very similar in attitude.

Chad Kelly won't see a single start if he has that mentality. Dabo has made it clear from the beginning that his players will conduct themselves with class or won't play, regardless of their talent level.

"Johnny Football" is a boy and acts like it...

Dec 31, 2013, 11:29 PM

Tajh is a man...boys look up to him.

I would take 100 Tajh's over 1 Johnny M.

BRING IT!

And that's fine

But you have to have a certain level of intensity on the field. You don't think Johnny's teammates look up to him? You kidding yourself. He has the spark you need in a qb. Off the field problems aside you cannot deny that he is the most exciting player in college football. Tajh has lacked that spark this year and he may be a moral leader but he does not fire his team up or get fired up himself. Hope next year whoever steps up will be more like Johnny in attitude on the field but not off.

There is a difference between

The desire to go line up and take your opponents best shot and hit back. And what Johnny does.

That won't work in the NFL. Period.***

The OP isn't talking about actual in-game stuff

Dec 31, 2013, 11:54 PM

He's talking about off-the-field attitude, which I think we can all agree Tajh smokes Manziel in.

That being said, Tajh has plenty of intensity. aTm has an All-American offensive line to play behind. Tajh has had to rewrite the record books all while being under constant pressure.

Tajh beats Johnny off the field hands down.
