Agree Jim Phillips, Jim Phillips, Jim Phillips

Why he isnt there yet, I dont know. Do you realize its been 12 yrs since his death? This was the voice of the Tigers that we all came to know and love. If its a degree keeping him out, then give him an honary degree in broadcasting due to the 30 plus yrs of experience.

You must have an undergraduate degree and jim & Herman don't***

athletes. There should be rare special cases for non-athletes in who brought great credit to Clemson sports. Herman McGee was a young black man who served Clemson's football team during segregation and beyond as trainer. Jim Philips needs no introduction - put them both in the ROH.

Man oh man, I completely agree!!! Herman McGee was a selfless, unassuming Icon that deserves all of the praise we can muster. And NO ONE has ever represented Clemson with more excitement than Jim Phillips. He is in the collective memory of every single Tiger fan. His play by play of 1977 "the catch", 1979 defeating Notre Dame in South Bend, 1981 National Championship, Clemson Basketball defeating Kentucky at Rupp Arena. It is impossible for me to separate any memory I have of Clemson and Jim Phillips prior to his death. He was and always will be, "The Voice of the Tigers!" These 2 men's accomplishments and devotion are much more important than being a college graduate. Go Tigers, do the right thing!
