I think about Duke basketball and what Coach K has done with that program. Every single game they have played over the past 20 years is the absolute biggest single game for their opponents. Every time they lace it up, they get the best effort from the opposing fan base, team, coach, etc.

It feels good being that team with the huge target on your back. Certainly builds character and the understanding that you have to be at your best every single game because the other guys are gonna bring their best.

but some years, they have been second biggest to all conference teams because UNC was number one.

His dynasty is even more impressive because he built it literally in Dean Smiths backyard. Talk about a tough road to hoe.
