Really wish I had been there...

...to see how the offense "felt" in person. Can who was there comment on that for us here? Did it feel fast- paced?

it was faster paced than usual, but honestly it wasnt as fast as i was expecting it to be, someone posted on here that they had ran the 80+ plays per team they want to do during actual games, it seemed like there was quite a bit of punting though. (which isnt exactly a bad thing with zimmerman back there)

i think alot of it had to do with droped passes by the recievers, Allen even droped a few wide open ones. Stoudt was over-throwing his targets at the start but started getting better.

The pass protection was horrible or the defensive line was dominant......whichever way you want swing that

Pace seemed faster, but was not as fast as I was expecting. Rushing was good, passing not so much. Seemed to me that the QB's didn't have enough time in the pocket. Vanilla play calling, pieced together squads......it is what it is... a spring game. Was impressed with Cole Stoudt. Thought he looked good.

I thought it was pretty fast paced, especially early in the game. I was watching the play clock and we were snapping it with around 26 seconds left on the clock early, and about 4 seconds after the official came off the ball. Later in the game we were getting into the low 20s and I think down into the teens. I think by fall it will be even faster.

Advice to Dabo:

Don't describe the team's potential or a player's potential before the season with the word "special". Wait and use that after they had the season.
