Advice for Spring Game?

Mar 29, 2019, 10:35 AM

Never been, but have always wanted to go. Was planning on it this year, but any decent hotel room has tripled to $250-300. That's even through Priceline. Any advice?

Also, having lived out of state for several years, can someone tell me if the new facility is open to the public to tour? Certain hours, etc. ? Would love to be able to make it in for the Spring game.

Stay in Easley or Greenville or Anderson. Save some money.

Don't purchase tix from scalpers! ??
Like the gentleman said, book a room outside of Clemson. Not that inconvenient at all.

Sometimes you can walk into the lobby of the new facility.

I don't believe there are any more tours of the entire facility unless you have a child who is really good at football.

Doubtful for tours of the football facility as the.........

focus of those people will be on the game, etc. You should be able to look through the door and the NC trophy case, though.

Just be sure to visit the headstones in the graveyard.

If you have enough fun, you can sleep in your car.***

megalopolis this is not. Plenty of surrounding towns. And better shopping in those towns, and even places to see, museums.

Tons of hotels in Greenville and if you haven't been lately you'll be shocked a the great changes. Spring Game is the best possible fun event for families, since the game is free and you get a feel for a real game. Arrive as early as possible as there's a lot to see. Enter stadium about 45 min. before kick off for better seats, there will be plenty to see there too.
