Cause in the military if a Sgt tells you to do one thing and a Lt tells you to do something else then you have a hearing problem because the Sgt told you nothing.
All military pecking order insist the fleet commander is the only one who spoke. I think it's fake news anyway.

Remember the 1987 USS Iowa explosion. In the aftermath, the Navy actually tried to scapegoat a dead sailor after an explosion killed 47 on board after a gun turret exploded. The Navy claimed two guys were gay lovers who sabotaged the ship.
The whole thing was exposed by sailor’s families and the media. They invented the story.
