APM gettin' all emotional dis mawn.

Was driving my 16-year-old girl to school. She loves Christmas music and asked if we could listen on the way to school. APM says 'sho. Turn it on and one of the tunes we like best comes on and it reminds me of the move Love Actually, prolly cause the kid from that movie is in The Queen's Gambit, which me and the missus have been watching (Dew Wreck, BTW). Then APM starts thinking about the Heathrow scene and gets all teary eyed. lil'APM comin' home from college next week. lil'APMette will be leaving the nest soon too. Gettin' all teary eyes typing it. What can be said? APM is soft y'all.

I think they're just real posts that are run through this....
https://funtranslations.com/ebonicsEbonics translator Convert from English to Ebonics. Ebnoics (or African American Vernacular English) is a variety (dialect, ethnolect and sociolect) of American English, most commonly spoken today by urban working-class and largely bi-dialectal middle-class African Americans. Non-linguists sometimes call it Ebonics. It shares a large portion of its grammar and phonology with the rural dialects of the Southern United States.

Who knew middle class white people would literally use this as a template to model their behavior after.

not teenage, yet...but daughter is 12.5....and (perhaps, especially because she's been virtual schooling since March, and mostly removed from peer influences) she waffles between still doing 'little kid things' and "about to be a teenager things', and it's messin' with me
I don't like this game

There's a certain amount of character that develops when you're forced to meet sketchy individuals at Chuck E Cheese to pickup oregano quality bud. Kind of a right of passage, IMO.

They do grow up and gone too soon. Mine turned twenty-one this week. He's out learning how the world works in between getting some formal education. He has turned out well. Always did have a good attitude. I've been blessed to have him as a son.

Hopefully grand kids are somewhere in your future and you get to do all over again. And with a little luck wiser and more prosperous. Albeit, backyard baseball, football & driveway basketball is harder on the body the second time around.
