In a statement, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said, “Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Grant of Clemency commuting the unjust sentence of Roger Stone, Jr.”

The move comes days before Stone, 67, was to report to a federal prison in Georgia. An appeals court on Friday denied Stone’s request to delay reporting for his sentence for two months, saying he must report for prison in Jesup, Georgia, on Tuesday, The New York Times and Fox News reported.

Witness tampering, obstruction, making false statements...free to go

Throw some paint on a statue that is easily washed off...10 years in prison

Law and Order in deed.

Bill Barr said Stone's conviction was "righteous"

Jul 10, 2020, 9:15 PM

Not surprising...but it still kind of does things to your stomach.

Bold move. Pardoning the guy who refused to turn on you one day before he was scheduled to go away. Basically tantamount to a direct admission Stone had the goods on him and could have linked him to stuff the Donald did not want disclosed, and Trump will take the PR hit for pardoning him because he knows the alternative is far worse.

The irony is, Stone is very much like Trump in that he's a showboating, attention-seeking narcissist with this compulsive need to be the center of things, and now that he's got his pardon, you have to wonder how long it's going to be before Stone compulsively spills the story and tries to cash in for himself. There is no loyalty in Trumpworld, just transactions.

I'd keep an eye peeled Stone's way. He really likes the spotlight and he's free as a bird now.

Omg yes. Trump will be in prison any day now, once the “goods” come out. Don’t know why schiff hasn’t already released all the evidence he has...

Big win for the law and order crowd.

Strange that it should happen late on a Friday afternoon considering there's absolutely nothing shady about it.

Godspeed, Mr. Stone. May your ratfucking days never end.
