ACC Revenue Question

May 25, 2019, 11:32 AM

I can't find a per sport breakdown of ACC TV revenues. My brother who is a Tobacco Road (Wake) man insists that basketball is #1. I can 't believe that Football is not #1. Anybody have an answer with a link?

Can't find the link, but I thought that I read that FB carried the weight of the money. I know that I need to work on muscle memory but, I think that is what I read....

80% Football and 20% Basketball. That's just from TV not including the ACCN which will be just a spit from how much is made.

All you need to know, to know that football provides the bulk

of the revenue...Notre Dame only received 7.9 mil, all the other schools nearly 30 million or more. So, football is providing nearly 75% of the revenue. Even Duke and UNCheat, who would have to be the ACC's top revenue schools in basketball, wouldn't receive more from bball than football!

In addition to basketball, Notre Dame’s share of money includes TV money from ACC broadcasts of Olympic sports such as baseball. Notre Dame’s Football TV contract with NBC pays them $15 million per year. That includes the money from 9 home games against ACC teams every 2 years. The ACC receives the money from ABS/ESPN for 9 home games against the Irish during each 2 year period.
