ACC Championship game

Clemson seems to have an excellent handle on the Covid situation and appropriate precautions. For that reason, I think they should send a proposal to the ACC office offering to host this year's championship game. Everything in NC is so dicey who knows if the game in Charlotte game would even take place or if any fans would be allowed. I'm serious.

I'm sure Notre Dame, UNC, and Miami will happily endorse this proposal.

It will be fine.

NC is opening back up - just not as gun-ho as some other states (look at you Jawja)(look at you Jawja). Fine by me. Still NC is opening slowly - likely fine by Dec when everyone is tired by being stuck indoors.

You know this is prtty much what thy do in hoops every year in Greensboro. Never seems to bother the league to do that in hoops.

NC is running a 5% - 6% positive rate while SC is in the 10% - 15% range; Clemson’s athletic department is doing a great job, but I wouldn’t say the state as a whole is (sand)lapping the tarheels in managing the virus. We’re moving in the right direction here in NC, and I would expect to see fans in the stands in October. If not, David Tepper might just buy the whole state and establish his own government.
