A year or so ago, I sent a polite email to another site,

explaining to them, that the word "Our" is significantly different than the word "Are" and should not be used interchangeably. I mentioned that they should hire a proof reader. I was prompted to write them when I read this sentence in one of their articles which read,"What are are teams chances.....". It was not the first time, nor the last time, they have used the verb "Are" for the pronoun "Our". I told them that as professional journalists, they should hire a proof reader because it would help their site. Their response was a curt,"Nobody ever said anything 'til you!".

I mention all of this in a lead up to an article I just read which had this nugget in it....

"Clemson’s two loses were by a point to Pittsburgh in 2016 and by three points at Syracuse in 2017, a game in which it lost by just three points".

Have a Happy 4TH!!
