When Nazis Took Manhattan
In 1939, an event at Madison Square Garden was billed as a "Pro American Rally." It was, in fact, a rally in support of Hitler and fascism.



Holy ####. This is wild and something that is never covered or mentioned anymore. It’s jarring to see swastikas next to American flags and images of George Washington.

I wonder what the people at this rally thought in the coming years as the Nazi’s became our vicious enemies?

You forgot to mention Joeseph Kennedy who made his fortune running liquor during prohibition was antisemitic and a ardent supporter of the Nazis. Oh yes, you can throw in Henry ford too.
