A lot of interesting "IF" questions

Aug 12, 2020, 9:55 AM

So IF the ACC, SEC and Big12 play ball, what are the possibilities that some of these other schools in the Big 10 or PAC12 who still want to play would be able to get worked into the SEC/ACC/BIG12 schedules? How cool would it be for our OOC game(s) to be someone like Ohio St, Penn St, Nebraska, etc? I know there are a ton of things that would need to be worked out - specifically TV revenue contracts - but their schedules are currently wide open.

I know it's a long shot, but sure would be fun to see some cool OOC match-ups that we wouldn't ordinarily see, esp since all of these smaller schools we usually play may not be available.

I don’t believe the leagues who have agreed not to play will allow their teams to play.... anywhere. Isn’t that what the commissioner said?

I don't know for sure. I know Frost and Day have both said that they'd be open to playing OOC if they could, but I don't know that it's contractually possible. Would open up some great possibilities, though, if they could.
