fraternity was on the 1st floor of Norris Hall and part of 2nd floor. Me & my roommate were GDI's along with a smattering of soccer & tennis players. But we were usually welcome to come downstairs and partake in their parties. In Nov 1978, the Jim Jones mass suicide poisoning thing happened in Guyana. When we returned for the spring semester, the Chi Psi had a "Return To Guyana" party.
The drink that night was called "Jim Jones Juice". Pretty much exactly like this guy is doing. Except everybody had to bring a pint of any clear liquor and dump it in a big galvanized trash can. Vodka, rum, gin, tequila, didn't matter. And a couple guys stood there all night cutting up fruit and adding fruit juices and ice. They were stirring it with a wooden boat paddle...
My gawd... a few solo cups of that stuff and you were trashed. Good times.

2 two liters of Sprite(?)
1 Gallon of OJ?
5 packs of red kool aid
Mixed in a cooler with ice
there may have been something else, memory is a little foggy, if any of my friends from school are on here and remember the drink by name they may be able to adjust the recipe
