..if you remember the old "Orange and White" newspaper from that era, you might recall an article re-published in it from the Ohio State student newspaper about "...avoiding Clemson and going straight to the ball game..."; anyone here recall that? If so, TNET owner needs to re-post it....

Remember being 13 and sitting by my brother with a big tub of popcorn after a 3 1/2 hour drive from Fairfax, SC. Didn't know the punch had happened until after the game. There was a lot of orange and It was pretty loud in the Gator Bowl when we won. Don't really remember the OhSt fans.

I remember most of them didn't know where Clemson was...

The same thing with Nebraska in 1981. They all thought it wa in North Carolina.
