No there's nothing going on at Clemson. Our HC assists players in transferring to other schools when it's obvious they're getting passed on the depth chart. Unlike your HC that yanks their scholly even if it leaves them no time to find a new school, much less give them assistance.

I agree, nothing wrong with it.

I just think its funny that when a "coot player" transfers, it is Spurrier pushing him out. But when its a Clemson player it is a players decision

Don't worry. A lot of us think you're funny, too.

Say things that will sit well with you, neilly, and mr shep. I will applaud the persistent effort that is given. If I ever waste my time on your board I would hope to be disagreed with as well. Anything less would not make sense.

Transferring players don't keep that graduatuion rate

at 50%, pulling/not renewing scholarships does. Face it, your coach admitted last year when asked about pulling/not renewing scholarships , when he said some of these guys have to realize that they're not div 1 material. His word not TNet's.

i'm not one to say this is right or wrong, but clemson and scar do it differently.

the south carolina high school coaches were up in arms over this change at scar.

they have either gotten over it or don't think this could ever happen 'to one of their kids.'

The Griggs guy has selective memory. I won't take time to post links but several have gotten the calls, and it was well publicized that scholly offers were pulled at the last moment for a couple of their commits, not giving the kids time to reopen recruiting. spurrier is a sleaze, but he fits in well at a place where beating Clemson is their biggest dream, and about their only accomplishment of late (or ever, really).

You posted this bf a Carolina fan did, I mean just bc players and coaches jump ship at sc doesn't mean they would jump ship at Clemson.

Some keep talking about young talent and new recruits coming in but let me ask this....isn't it weird that this amazing linebacker class signed 2 years ago has been a bust? Seems like a developmental issue when a 2 star starts over 2 5 stars and a solid 4 . Or maybe it is bad evaluations. Who knows.

Dabo just trimming the fat. The difference in him and the Ole Balz Sac is Dabo does it to the player early enough for them to find another school. The Ole Balz Sac waits until there is no chance that the player will be able to get on the roster of his competition.

That being said,Clemson is losing depth on an already suspect defense. That combined with the fact that Boyd has no signature road wins in front of a raucous crowd(all due respect to the 45k at Lane stadium) should help South Carolina realize their "dream" again.

BAHAHAHA

we are losing depth LOL!!!

We are actually deep at LB!

That suspect D played pretty well against that SEC Powerhouse LSWHoo!!

Fact is the D got better throughout the year and was clicking at the end without Teek getting minutes. This will not hurt us at all!!

Go Peck dirt COOT!!

Hey bud you won 4 years in a row, we've won 7 in a row before. Look who is ahead by 24 games in the series and has a Nat. Champ. USC is our little sister who has fought back a little in recent years, but will eventually crawl back in the hole you call Columbia.

That is one mans opinion....much like yours and mind doesn't make it a fact. Signning kids to a 4 year schlarship is not like offering tenure. The high school level is no proving ground for college performanc and these kids are not here because of their academic performance. If they are here because of their academic performance then it is fair to evaluate a kid based on that performance too. The flip dide of the argument....should these kids be forced to stay 4 years.....no. That would be unenforcable. Kids transfer all the time and for different reasons. The high profile kids are pointed out. Regular students do not get4 year scholarships and before you start....a regular student is not furnished with the benefits a athlete is so there has to be a higher standard. We just need to figure out what those standards are.

Do you not get a sickening feeling everytime you see one of these 18 year olds get the rug pulled out from under them by these selfish SEC schools. I will take Dabo all day long keeping his promise to kids versus these fair weather coaches looking for the next best thing! Just ask Jake Nichaelopoulous (butchered spelling sorry Jake)!!!
