is coming to an end. Liberal media is jumping on the anti football bandwagon. Attacking it at the most basic level...youth football. Saying some high schools are already considering not sanctioning football due to fear of lawsuits. In 10-15 years, football will be nothing more than 7 on 7 with no pads or flag football

That this all on the NFL. They refused to take care of their retired players in pursuit of the all mighty dollar and now the players that built the game have a good chance to tear it down....all for basic health insurance.

It's surprising the polar opposites that MLB's player union and the NFLPA are compared to each other. MLB's player union won't give on anything. Yet the union in a violent sport, which destroys it's players body, won't even stand up for their own players.

Now the NFL itself should be held accountable fora lot of the ways they handled things but to me the NFLPA has always seemed very greedy to me. They acted ignorant to the fact that there were problems and long term effects and even have blocked money to help ex-players get proper medical care. Every time the cba came back up they made sure to cut out the ex players to keep a bigger pot to themselves. Finally the explayers sued the union. They reap what they sew.

......too much money being made by the fat cats up in the suites. High schools very well may drop football but that won't stop it, we will just see what we see in basketball as far as AAU programs popping up everywhere. We already see these AAU type 7 on 7 tournaments where these kids travel the country. So it probably wouldn't be a problem getting kids on board for a traveling full contact 11 on 11 programs. As far as Liberals ruining the country, I would have to agree but on the other hand the Elephants and Donkeys haven't fared much better....
