When you decommitted several months ago, it certainly was not what we wanted to hear. But in light of recent events at that time, I at least saw the honor in being up front and honest with the team, staff and fans. Instead of being 'committed' yet wanting to use your visits and enjoy the full scope of your recruitment, you did what I can only call mature and respectful. You burned no bridges ... in fact, it proved to me that you are the kind of young man that we want to have at Clemson.
I sincerely hope that you enjoyed the last several months, that you have seen what the other programs have to offer and that you can compare them with what you know to be true about Clemson. I believe you'll agree that there IS something special about these mountains ... this place ... this team and institution.
When you make your final decision, I hope it is for Clemson. You'll do great things here. Regardless, you earned the respect of this fan by how you handled the process and a difficult decision. I honestly believe that you have the potential to be great no matter where your choice takes you.
