We can say all we want about Lamar Jackson not being the most "well spoken" person alive, but he always seemed like a good kid, he's a heck of a player, and he seems like a really high character guy. I hated on Lamar a ton last year just because I wanted the Heisman to go to Deshaun, but after seeing all the crap Baker Mayfield does on the field I'd give the award to Lamar Jackson again ten times over.

I think Clemson not having a guy competing directly for the Heisman Trophy against Lamar Jackson has opened up my opinions on him. I hated on him a lot last year and it really was for no reason, he represents his conference and his university well. He seems like a good dude ontop of being a phenomenal quarterback and that's what matters.
