I've shared this before, but this kid is a heat seeking dump truck. He's as nasty and violent on the defensive side as Jackson Carman is on the O Line. The potential of this class is something I never could have dreamt up.

Wish there was a way to 'create' a few more scholly's for the '18 class
To have the momentum of the natty + TLaw/XT pull + crazy facilities = something never seen before at Clemson
Obviously not gonna run somebody off, but can be a win - win if Dabo and company help find a kid like Tucker Israel a starting role at a mid major (he could do some damage at a school like Western Michigan, etc....)

And by that I mean, it is absolutely and objectively unprecedented. NO ONE has EVER signed more than 3 5* players in one class... and that's only been done 3 times I think (if my memory serves me from reading an article earlier today). We genuinely have a shot at 6 of them. That is nuts.

By ever, I meant ever. The article I read (I think it was an SI article) must have been referring to on recruiting site, Rivals if I recall. Maybe its been done, but certainly only very recently and by Bama if at all.

So I went back and looked... I stand corrected. Depending on which site, Bama has some 5 and 6, 5* years. ESPN is by far the stingiest it seems giving out 5* rankings. They only had between 9-20 5* guys each year (with 20 being the outlier and most years around 12 going back to 2010). Rivals, Scout, and 24/7 usually has their number of 5* guys hovering in the mid to upper 20's, with one year at 32.
Anywho, the guys I had in mind are all in the top ten and apart from a year Bama pulled 5 out of the top 15, we would be in the argument for the most impressive haul in 1 year.

I have loved this player since I first saw him in film and I've watched a lot of his he is one of my top wish list guys! Would love to start recruiting that Virginia Beach area hard they always have stud DBs and defensive players every cycle! Get em while VT is down haha Go Tigers!!

Winning that national championship game showed recruits that you can win and have fun doing it. They have a alternative to Saban's "all business, all the time" approach. The best is truly yet to come.
