4 day old crab legs or nah?

Jul 7, 2020, 4:19 PM

Bought some from WholeFoods on Friday at around noon. Forgot about them until yesterday evening.

Risky or nah? They're cooked already and just need heating. They smell crabby but not bad. Would you or no?

Nah, risk ain't worth the reward if it results in

That was my thought, too. And on second thought

the guy at Whole Foods said he "needed to get rid of them" on Friday and threw an extra cluster and a half in the bag. So you're probably right.

That’s a sales tactic, you still paid for the extra cluster

Man up and eat them, eat by and sell by dates are merely a suggestion.

Okay butt...

Jul 7, 2020, 5:42 PM

he threw the extra clusters in the bag after he weighed the ones I wanted out. And I've been to WholeFoods dozens of times and that's never happened before.

Please to be explaining how to get 50% more crab legs for my money in future purchases.

let them sit in the fridge for a couple of more days. People are risking their lives to bring you that yumminess.

Way too late, but they would be fine.
