Undefeated takes skill and lots of luck.

Washington and Baylor

Hopefully it's five undefeated teams and Baylor gets left out. We beat Bama in Atlanta. Then we beat Washington for the championship!

Agreed. But honestly still in shock from yesterday

Awesome game. From a chip shot FG away from basically ruining our season to a total overtime domination. Go Tigers! 7-0 and kept them coming.

For the committee rankings I expect:
1. Alabama
2. Ohio St.
3. Clemson
4. Washington

Won't happen

Only 8 seasons in the last 35 have had two undefeated teams and only one year (2004) had three. The most likely scenario would be us, especially if we beat FSU. Bama and OSU are always good for at least one loss.

Agreed.

Just said the same thing, but I spent too long to post.

Undefeated teams.

In the past 15 years, do you know how many years we have more than 2 undefeated teams from "major conferences" after the regular season ended?

One.

Just one in 2004: USC (12-0), Oklahoma (12-0) and Auburn (12-0). But back then regular season only had 11 games before conference championship games.

Talking about only major conferences, in 10 out of 15 years, there was only ONE undefeated team after regular season ended.

If this year, it turns out that we have 3+ undefeated teams after the championship games, it's gonna be a special year.
