... if they mess around and lose a game because they're so busy being disrespected they fail to notice the other team is trying to make sure the disrespect is well earned. Just win, and all will be fine. Nobody remembers, or will ever care about, the Nov. 5 rankings.

I think that happened to Louisville a few years ago when they were complaining about their ranking only to turn around and lose to Houston. Their season completely fail apart at that point. The difference though in addition to leadership is they had to realize they had no chance of getting into the CFP regardless of how they finished up their season. Our team has to realize that they're in as long as they continue to win.

Win 4 games and we are in the top 4. Then, whether we are #1, #2, #3, or #4, we have to beat 2 of the other 3. And I like our chances against all 7 potential final 4 opponents (current top 4 plus GA, OR and UT)

We ought to be use to the disrespect by now. For years by this conference and now by national media and playoff committees that do not want Clemson involved with this playoff. We have embarrassed all the Big Boys for long enough. We win out, but what qualifies as enough of a win to impress these people? We need to leave no doubts from here on out.

Don't kid yourself. The #4 ranking does not say that at all. With the ACC being how it is, if Clemson lost, they would be out anyways. The most this is is a warning....don't let another UNC game happen or you could lose out due to SOS.
