No Spud , fake news .

It's bottom of the 47th inning and UGA's batting coach is at the plate ... Clemson's equipment kid ( Who goes to Pendleton HS ) is pitching . Both teams have pulled the outfields and are only playing 1st and short .

This game reminded me of the infamous Braves/Mets game

in 1985 that went 19 innings, and had everything imaginable, even pitcher Rick Camp, who was a notoriously poor hitter, hitting an extra inning homer to keep it going. I was watching that game with fiancee and future In-Laws at their house. By the time it was over, it was so late they pulled out a rollaway bed and let me sleep there instead of driving 25 miles back home. The game was on July 4th, and they set the fireworks off at the stadium when the game was over at about 4 am on July 5th, and scared all the junkies in the neighborhood.

Oh, by the way, the Braves lost, too. Happy Birthday again, Spud!
